For whatever reason, the 2016 NFL season didn’t produce a single receiver over 1,500 receiving yards, while just two even topped 1,400+ yards. That was a huge shift from 2015, when two wide receivers eclipsed the 1,800+ yard plateau and six different receivers had over 1,400 receiving yards. Nfl Most Receiving Yards Season
The Oakland Raiders had a compelling 2016 season on the offensive front, many thanks to outstanding decisions from quarterback Derek Carr and elite performances from the wide receiving corps. So, which players will post the most receiving yards in the 2017 season?
Oakland Raiders’ wide receiver Amari Cooper capitalized on a standout rookie season and an outstanding 2016 season. At 6-foot-1, Cooper finished 2016 with 83 receptions for 1,153 yards, five touchdowns and most recently was named 53-rd best player in the NFL top 100.
Going into his third season with the Raiders, wide receiver Michael Crabtree is the second half of Oakland’s dynamic duo, finishing with 89 receptions for 1,003 yards and eight touchdowns.
Crabtree struggled with some dropped passes last season, but with increase competition in the receiving corps, hopefully, he can step up to the challenge.
Cordarrelle Patterson was a highly anticipated 2013 draft pick for the Minnesota Vikings but ultimately struggled to find and to maintain a role within their receiving corps. He did, however, shine on special teams on kick and punt returns for the Vikings with his flashy speed.

In 2016, he led the league in yards per return and earned himself a Pro Bowl nomination. If Patterson can continue to improve on his route running, he’s a real threat in the open field and will make a spot for him on the Raiders’ receiving corps.

Jared Cook is another Oakland newcomer at Tight End, a position the Raiders struggled at last season, so will the big target change that statistic in 2017? At 6-foot-five and 254-pounds, Cook finished 2016 season with the Packers with 30 receptions for 377 yards and one touchdown.
